Rotation Diagnostics

The rotations command requires two arguments after the subcommand and fairplay.command.rotations. Use the installed command usage message for the exact argument order.

Argument shape

The command takes two arguments after rotations. Read the installed FairPlay usage message for the exact argument names and order.

Permission and target ownership

The command requires fairplay.command.rotations and the root fairplay.command permission. The target must be available to the viewer, and a trace service must be available on the server.

Operate a trace responsibly

  1. Read the installed FairPlay language file for the exact current usage string.
  2. Run only in a controlled diagnostic session with authorized participants.
  3. Use the handler’s documented start/stop flow and inspect its status output before concluding that data was captured.
  4. Redact names, UUIDs, world identifiers, and trace paths before sharing output externally.

Apply and verify changes

Use the installed command usage message to start, inspect, or stop a trace. Check the server response before concluding that data was captured.
